Ed, a zebra who escaped his new Tennessee home, became a viral sensation after a week-long adventure evading authorities and disrupting traffic. He was finally located near Buchanan Estates and dramatically airlifted back to his owner by aviation crews.

Ed the pet zebra made quite a splash in his new town, running away a day after his arrival. Video shows him being airlifted by helicopter after he was found Sunday.

Video posted by the sheriff’s office shows Ed wrapped in a net with his head sticking out as he is carried by the helicopter to the trailer.
