Lt Gen Rajeev Ghai drew parallels between cricket and military defense during a briefing on Operation Sindoor and also made a reference to Virat Kohli, who retired from Test cricket on Monday.
According to Lt Gen Ghai, “Following Operation Sindoor on 7 May, where terrorists were struck without crossing the LoC, the Indian side was prepared for a Pakistani retaliation with a ‘Multilayered counter-drone and air defence grid’.”
The talks were held between Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, DGMO of the Indian Army and Major General Kashif Abdullah, the DGMO of the Pakistan Army over hotline.
