The crafts retailer formerly known as Jo-Ann Fabrics had been struggling financially for several years following a DIY-driven uptick in sales during the early days of the pandemic.

Joann is now set to close all of its store locations after previously announcing the closure of "approximately 500."

One such big name? Joann, the national fabric and craft-supplies retailer, that announced on Feb. 23 that it was going out of business and would begin shutting down all of its 800 stores in 49 states across the United States.
