HBO has released the first look at the comedian and actor in costume as the half-giant and Hogwarts groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid for its upcoming "Harry Potter" series. The photo was shared to the official "Harry Potter" and HBO Max social media accounts.

HBO's "Harry Potter" television adaptation is slowly coming together, but we're still a ways out from actually getting it on our screens. That said, we are learning more and more as the months go on.

HBO is betting high on the success of the Harry Potter series, by making sure the cast can keep their formal education while shooting.
