The Atlanta Dream (11-7) hosts the Golden State Valkyries (9-8), with both teams coming off losses and looking to build some momentum.
Golden State Valkyries guard Kate Martin beat former teammate Caitlin Clark and the Fever in front of fans who waited years to see them play.
The Valkyries fall to 9-9 and are 2-6 on the road as opposed to 7-3 on Chase Center. Both road wins came in Los Angeles against the Sparks, meaning they have yet to win a WNBA game out of the state of California. Golden State was coming of a loss in Minnesota in a game in which they were also competitive only to let it get away late.
Allisha Gray scored 24 points, Naz Hillmon had 16 points and a career-high four 3-pointers, and the Atlanta Dream controlled the fourth quarter for a 90-81 victory over the Golden State Valkyries.
After a rough showing against the Dream, Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase blasted the referees for some home cooking.
