At the end of day 9 of the 2025 World Series of Poker main event, Jeff Platt interviewed overwhelming chip leader Michael Mizrachi. When asked what it would take to finish the job, the 44-year-old poker pro from South Florida simply said, “An hour.”
Mizrachi, a Jewish Florida native, won his eighth World Series of Poker bracelet at the showdown Wednesday, tying him for the fifth most of all time and marking his first win in the competition’s main event. He also took home the $10 million first prize.
The WSOP main event is down to the final four, with seven-time bracelet winner Michael Mizrachi way out in front and $10 million on the line.
