Over 130 people have died after heavy rain pounded Kerr County, Texas, early Friday, leading to "catastrophic" flooding, the sheriff said.

A flood watch was in effect for more than a dozen counties as authorities resumed the search for victims of the July 4 tragedy.

The Kerr County sheriff paused search efforts Sunday because of more flooding from heavy rain in Central Texas. Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico were also under flood watches.
