FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — After trying to pass another vehicle and swerving to avoid a collision, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said a fatal car crash killed a beloved Hamilton Southeastern High School student who recently signed to play football at the University of Pittsburgh.

An 18-year-old football player died in a crash in Fishers late Saturday night. Mason Alexander graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and enrolled early at the University of Pittsburgh. The cornerback was an ESPN 300 recruit for the 2025 class.
