A new report has revealed that Los Angeles is still among the teams interested in signing Horford. Marc J. Spears, a longtime NBA insider, has reported that the Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors are still working to sign Horford.

The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly still among the teams in the mix to land 39-year-old free agent forward Al Horford.

Al Horford is set to enter his 19th season in the NBA next season. For the last four seasons, he has been playing for the Boston Celtics, where he has achieved great success, including winning the NBA Championship in 2024, the first of his career. Last season with the Celtics, Horford averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

The Warriors have been viewed as the overwhelming favorite to sign Horford if he keeps playing. However, a new report from Marc Spears of ESPN.com listed a couple of new Eastern Conference teams

There have been reports that the Los Angeles Lakers could still be interested in landing Al Horford, despite signing Deandre ayton and re-signing Jaxson Hayes. However, according to a recent report from Zach Lowe, it doesn't sound likely that Horford will play for the Lakers.

Veteran big man Al Horford has yet to make a decision on his future, but if he does return for a 2025-26 season, the Golden State Warriors are still viewed as the frontrunners to sign him.

Al Horford is apparently drawing interest from numerous teams, even though he's been strongly linked to the Warriors.
