Gov. Eric Holcomb has selected Lake County Magistrate Natalie Bokota to become a judge on the Lake Superior Court, Criminal Division.

Chief Lake Superior Court Judge James Pera said Wednesday she is convalescing from an illness. "We expect her back. We miss her and wish her a speedy recovery," he said.
