First announced at CES four years ago, My Arcade’s Super Retro Champ was a chunky handheld that could play classic 16-bit titles using original Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo cartridges.

The makers of Retro have announced the film’s release date. Starring Suriya and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie is bankrolled by Stone Bench Films of Karthik and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
