Responding deputies found a door riddled with bullet holes and were told there was a 20-year-old inside who was armed and suicidal, the sheriff’s office said.

He said the the incident happened between 4 and 5 p.m. The recent sinkhole is not the first one to appear in Aiken or at that location. A hole opened up near South Boundary and Whiskey in August 2020.
