Valve, the company that owns and maintains the globally popular PC gaming platform Steam, has given a statement responding to reports of a recent data leak.
Steam user data leak included text messages containing one-time codes sent to users and their phone numbers. Valve says the leak wasn't a result of a data breach of Steam systems, but it's trying to find the source.
The dark web doesn't have your Steam account on it, Valve has confirmed in a news post after a report on LinkedIn claimed there was a massive data breach of more than 89 million users.
