With a month and change before the 2025 NBA Draft kicks off, it does not seem like any prospect has made himself the favorite for the Sixers at No. 3 just yet.
The 18-year-old from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players of the Class of 2024. Ace played for Rutgers last season, averaging 17.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. He made the Big Ten All-Freshman team while earning third-team All-Big Ten honors.
In their latest mock draft following the combine results, ESPN's Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo once again projected Duke star Cooper Flagg to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks. The Rutgers duo of Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey followed at Nos. 2 and 3 to the San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers, respectively.
Rutgers star Ace Bailey isn't the best player in the 2025 NBA Draft. That distinction would go to Duke's Cooper Flagg — the projected No. 1 overall pick in next month's draft. Bailey isn't even the best draft prospect from his own college team.
