Black Sabbath 's Back To The Beginning show was an extraordinary success, a dizzying, warm-hearted celebration of history, roots and community. It was a celebration of Birmingham. And, most of all, it was a celebration of four men who changed the world: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.

Ozzy Osbourne's final concert with Black Sabbath raised $190 for charity. Proceeds for the July 5 show benefited Cure Parkinson's (which Osbourne suffers from), Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice.

And while it was an important moment for all of us, it was an equally important moment for a number of houses and hospitals in the Birmingham area, as it turns out the event generated nearly $200 million for those causes.
