At the draft, the Jets starting things out with offensive lineman Armand Membou at No. 7 overall and then added tight end Mason Taylor in Round 2. Despite both of those players covering needs, ESPN does not see immediate improvements coming from the Jets' draft class in 2025.

The Jets have taken care of some important business as rookie minicamp takes place this weekend. The team has already signed five of the seven players it selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Most notable among the signees is Armand Membou. The team also announced the signings of Azareye’h Thomas, Malachi Moore, Tyler Baron, Francisco Mauigoa.

The New York Jets continued building the trenches by selecting offensive tackle Armand Membou with the seventh pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and he secured his deal on Thursday. The Jets signed Membou to a four-year, $31.9 million rookie contract, per ESPN's Rich Cimini. He's expected to compete for the starting right tackle job in his first year.
