Von Miller is joining the Washington Commanders. Miller is signing a one-year contract with Washington, a person familiar with the agreement tells The Associated Press.

The Commanders know they aren't getting the Von Miller of 2021, when he had a combined 14 sacks for two teams, and helped the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl championship. That doesn't mean they aren't adding significant help.

Ryan Kerrigan is Washington's all-time sacks leader and a young coach that several Washington players have praised. Quinn and Whitt both praised Kerrigan for his work last season, often staying late in practice to help players with their pass-rush moves.

With training camp around the corner, the Washington Commanders have reportedly agreed to terms on a rookie deal with their second-round corner, Trey Amos.
