A man has been jailed for life for murdering 55-year-old Derek Thomas, who was stabbed outside his home in Hackney last year.
Kamar Williams, 34, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 29 years at the Old Bailey for the murder of Derek Thomas, 55, in Hackney, north-east London, last July 30.
Williams claimed he acted in self defence but prosecutors said he stabbed Mr Thomas and left him for dead in the street.
