Nurses, Providence and Oregon
A strike involving nearly 5,000 healthcare workers at Providence Health in Oregon, which began Jan. 10, has come to an end.
A fighting unity must be established with all 22,000 ONA members and broader sections of workers in the region.
All eight RN bargaining units have voted to ratify their tentative agreement with Providence, ending a 46-day nurses' strike.
After 46 days on strike, nurses at Providence hospitals across Oregon have approved a deal that will see them return to work.
