More than 200,000 customers remain without power in the Pittsburgh area after a storm brought tornado-level winds Tuesday.

A perfect storm of storms swept across southwestern Pennsylvania Tuesday. It wasn’t a tornado. It wasn’t a microburst. It was a line of fast-moving thunderstorms that began in western Ohio and strengthened as they roared across Ohio, northern West Virginia and through southwestern Pennsylvania.

Tuesday's destructive storms knocked out power for more than half a million people. If you're one of the many people still in the dark, the Aliquippa fire chief is warning of some dangers because fire and carbon monoxide risks come with power outages.
