Ronny Mauricio had the best vantage point from which to admire the 456-foot home run that leapt off his bat and landed in the third deck during the Mets' 8-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday.

After the Rockies briefly tied it up, the Mets went to Jared as Jared Young hit a solo shot to lead off the fifth inning. They tacked on another run on a RBI single by Brandon Nimmo that inning but in the sixth it was Jeff McNeil’s turn to leave the yard for the team’s third home run of the day.

Ronny Maurico hit his first homer of the season, a 456-foot shot into the second deck, Francisco Lindor had three hits and two stolen bases, and the New York Mets rolled past the Colorado Rockies 8-1.
