Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV) announced on Monday that it is in talks with China Airlines Group to create an interline partnership in early 2026. The airline company expects to start selling published connections with China Airlines later this year.

Southwest Airlines introduced a new partnership with Taiwan-based China Airlines ahead of the July start of a European partnership with Icelandair.

That's in addition to the three gateways the two airlines launched earlier this year: Denver International Airport (DEN), Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
