Jun 18, 2019 · First off, this creation is heavily based off the fantastic Claptrap created by Sam Beattie (aka Dufresne07 flickr). I recreated his model (with his permission) and made a few tweaks of my own. The entire project was created in Bricklink's Studio 2.0, so I have a full set of build instructions as well as a parts list to share!

You'll notice the high intensity greebling under the arm, and the well textured wheel. But the use of the PAB cup as the eye cover is, at least as far back as I can remember, unique. Lego Claptrap: CL4P-TP General Purpose Robots, more commonly known as Claptraps are Hyperion manufactured work robots. In Borderlands they served as the stewards of Pandora, and were found in populated areas and guarding access points between different maps.
