Honorable dismissal is the voluntary withdrawal of a student from the University with the consent of the University Registrar. A student in good standing who desires to sever connection with the University shall present a written petition to this effect to the University

Students who are applying for honorable dismissal must write a letter to the University Registrar and file for university clearance. Visit the University Clearance page for more information about clearance to UPOU.

Requests for documents are done through the Online Request for Documents System (ORDS). The ORDS is accessible through the Students Portal; login to the Student Portal is required. Status of requests can be viewed in the Student Portal. The Office of the University Registrar does not accept requests made through phone calls or emails.
