Sep 15, 2016 · It is unfortunate that Montblanc has become such a status symbol that it has turned off so many fountain pen users. The Generation and the 144 and 145 are nice C/C pens that have a decent inner cap that keeps the pen moist for a long time.

Aug 31, 2008 · I tend to rotate the pen, not quite as far as most obliques require, but somewhere in between. The MB 24 does great with it. Quickly became one of my man-purse pens, which currently includes a vintage Conklin Nozac, Lamy 2000, one of Badr's $10 piston fillers with a stub Skyline nib, and a couple of vintage Kaweco Sports.

May 25, 2010 · I recently received a bottle of J. Herbin 1670 anniversary ink as a gift. Since I collect mostly Mont Blanc fountain pens, and they strongly suggest using only their inks, I was wondering if it is safe to use the J. Herbin ink in Mont Blanc fountain pens? Any experience or advice in this area will be greatly appreciated.

Apr 28, 2011 · the 145 is my favorite Montblanc pen ... it's a PERFECT pen, at least from my perspective... and I have many, many fountain pens in my collection. The 145 was my first Montblanc, then I got another ... and another. So today I have several 145 in my collection (all with a different nib size, of course). With the 145 my 'addiction' to pens started.

May 1, 2012 · I have several Mont Blanc fountain pens and I must agree with a previous post that both my Boheme nibs are fantastic. I bought the Boheme black resin/platinum finish blue stone fountain pen with fine nib and it did take a bit of use to get going, but once in its stride it has been one of my best writers the fine nib is incredible.
