Want to exhibit? Want to book an event? The KZNSA is a not for profit contemporary art space whose aim is the advancement of visual art.

This group exhibition showcases the work of postgraduate students who are completing Honours in Fine Arts at the Centre for Visual Arts (CVA) in 2024. Postgraduate Diploma students will also be showing their work.

Fine Art is on the Pietermaritzburg campus of UKZN, and offers drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and art theory to students ranging from Level 1 (first year) up to the PhD in practice led research (PLR).

Today it resides in a custom designed gallery complex in Glenwood, Durban that was opened in 1996. In 1994, an international competition was held to select a design for a gallery for the KwaZulu-Natal Society of Arts. Michál Cohen and Cindy Walters, who had just graduated as architects from UKZN, submitted the winning design.
