May 19, 2021 · I know it is an old thread, but I wanted to confirm that EasyUEFI works only in UEFI mode boot. So I downloaded Sergei Stelec's WinPE and created an UEFI mode USB flash drive so I can boot in Windows 10/11 in UEFI mode. I then loaded EasyUEFI (included) and deleted my old useless UEFI boot entries.

Aug 2, 2020 · Found this discussion via search. I have a system that I dual boot with Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux. I've used both Linux efibootmgr and Windows EasyUefi to delete entries from the UEFI boot menu. However, every time Windows 10 does any type of update, it re-adds all the boot entries it can find on the entire set of disks!

Dec 7, 2017 · I have installed Win 10 on the HDD but the Windows Boot Manager now controls which image I boot into, either the SSD or HDD. I have set the default to the SDD so it boots up in around 30 seconds, prior to the boot manager install it was more or less instant.

Aug 4, 2015 · I have a little problem. I have Windows 7 and Windows 10 Enterprise Build 10240 set up in a dual boot configuration on the same hard drive. Windows 7 is the first partition on that drive and Windows 10 is the second. I have decided to keep Windows 10 as my main OS and want to remove Windows 7 and reclaim that space for the Windows 10 partition.
