Jul 14, 2008 · EverQuest II has 24 classes available to players. Class is chosen during the character creation process, after race, gender, appearance, and starting city are selected. Please note that not all classes are available to all races initially.

Race has little bearing upon what your character is capable of, and gender has no effect at all. Each race has certain strengths and weaknesses in their starting attributes, but these strengths and weaknesses will be unimportant by the time you progress to the mid-levels.

Within EverQuest II, each player creates a character to interact in the 3D, fictional world of Norrath. The character can adventure (complete quests, explore the world, kill monsters and gain treasures and experience) and socialize with other players.
