Dec 20, 2023 · I have a level 8 hive with 33 bees, I have been grinding for fire mask for a while and really close to buying it (just need 100,000,000 honey), but I have been reading recently that honey mask is better than fire. I am hesitant to buy the fire mask because I could get the honey mask then just save my resources for the crimson guard.

Jan 4, 2020 · I’d say honey mask because when your grinding, and your backpack/container is getting full, you can get coin scatter, which coin scatter sells 25% of your container, and the ability’s it gives are pretty good to, but to activate the ability ‘coin scatter’ is best to have atleast 2 carpenter bees, imo

The coin scatter ability is so helpful when it happens right before you run out of storage, plus its part of the process of becoming a pro in this game, you gotta upgrade your equipment, it's like when you reach mountain top field and get your Porcelain set, well, now you gotta complete the Ace set and get the cobalt and crimson guards with the honeycomb belt and the honey mask.

Jul 16, 2020 · On blue fields It's better than the other two mid-level masks. It's also better than the Gummy mask on blue fields from the testing I've done. Meaning the one mask better than bubble on blue fields is the diamond mask (which is notoriously hard to craft--like many people get the diamond mask as their literal last item in the game.

May 24, 2021 · Yes honey mask is definitely worth it. Honey mask has a great passive which converts your pollen and scatters it across the field. So yea go for it unless you want the other masks.

Sep 2, 2022 · YES. I got 35 way before honey mask. After 35, get honeycomb, after that, petal. If you can craft Crimson guard before petal, go for it. Don't craft Cobalt before petal because you will not have enzymes. Good luck. Edit: petal means petal wand (35 bee zone) and you need to complete 10 spirit bear quests to get a petal to craft this wand.

If you don't have the materials for honey mask then maybe get 35 bees first if you know that you can get enough honey for honey mask around the time you get the materials for the honey mask (that's how I do it, but you don't have to. you can just read the first part)
