There is another company making and selling one, for those who don't want to pay as much as the Pedersoli costs. Pedersoli makes/sells a detachable buttstock for it. That's on my short list.

Jan 24, 2012 · For anyone not familiar with the Howdah... It is a double barrel 20 gauge shotgun pistol with about 10 inch barrels. It was originally designed for protection on top of an elephant during a tiger hunt. (if you want to see a video that will chill your bones Google tiger attacks elephant.
