May 21, 2020 · I’ve just recently experienced a similar issue with my 2016 Jeep Patriot Sport. Radiator has been replaced two days ago. Mechanic said thermostats looked just fine, opening and closing as they should. However, only when driving on the highway my temperature gauge will bump up to 3/4 but never exceed that mark.
