Nov 28, 2022 · Probably not a good idea to fade down when starting, just stick to the old school technique. Trim the bulk if needed with a desired guard, then bald line, no guard open, 1 open, then blend the bulk with a bigger guard/thinning shears depending how long the bulk is.

Advice I give all my troops: cut your hair every time you get paid, just get a low mid or high fade and make sure your bulk isn't longer than your CAC. Obviously steer away from fads and designs (and I discourage hard parts even though they are technically acceptable). Hard to go wrong.
