Mount Pisgah Arboretum is a 209-acre nature education facility where visitors can explore the ecology of the southern Willamette Valley. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on support from members, donors, and volunteers to care for our trails and facilities, and to provide learning opportunities for the community.

The Arboretum is a nonprofit organization that relies on community support from hundreds of volunteers and over 1500 members to maintain a 209-acre nature facility at the heart of the 2200-acre Howard Buford Recreation Area.
Parking - Mount Pisgah Arboretum
Lane County Parks day passes are $5. This pass is required for parking a motor vehicle at Howard Buford Recreation Area (HBRA), which includes Mount Pisgah Arboretum. You can purchase your pass at the grey vending machine next to the Mount Pisgah Summit trailhead, which is located above the parking lot. The fee machine accepts only cards.
Volunteer - Mount Pisgah Arboretum
Each year, roughly 500 volunteers spend thousands of hours helping sustain the vision of Mount Pisgah Arboretum. Volunteers maintain trails, remove invasive plants, teach children about nature, and make our annual festivals possible.

Festivals & Events - Mount Pisgah Arboretum
Our stage features live music by local bands all festival-day-long. Throughout the festival day, local naturalists and experts lead guided nature walks through the Arboretum highlighting the area’s ecology and history.
Learn - Mount Pisgah Arboretum
Mount Pisgah Arboretum provides field trips for about 3,000 K-5 students every year, and hosts about 1,000 people on guided nature walks and natural history workshops. We also work with local institutions to provide internships and to support graduate and undergraduate research.
