May 28, 2018 · The instructions are half-baked at best, and require you to permanently disable the Power Panic feature of the MK3 (by unplugging the black and white wires from the Einsey). This is because the power supply gets moved outside of the enclosure and the black and white wires aren't long enough to reach from the new location.

Apr 4, 2020 · I want to add a switch to the power cable to make this easier. I don't know much about wiring though. The mmu2s power cable has 2 hots and 2 negs (4 wires), so I guess I'd need a 24v switch with 8 pins?

The PSU is designed to work worldwide and automatically switch to the local voltage. The cable terminals (connectors) have a different width, make sure you follow the instructions. The blue terminals won't fit the Einsy board.

Connect the Power cable fork connectors. First, loosen the screws on the terminals so that there is enough space. Stack the MMU power connectors on top of the the PSU cable connections in the first two clamps on the left side of the Einsy board.

Jun 11, 2019 · The main inconvenience would be that the power switch in the PSU would be a bit out of reach. Having a switch in the front of the enclosure would be convenient. With this post I am attempting to find out what solution makes sense to me.
