Aug 10, 2013 · sunlight soap is comparable to fels naptha; in the eu historically it is the oldest laundry soap. sunlight contains limonene and lemon grass, which give it its lemon-like odour. limonene helps in fighting fat stains and dirt. being a soap maker, i make my own soap for making laundry soap, but i’ve used sunlight too for comparison.

To save time/energy and prevent further washing of more dishes we generally grate a years worth of fels naptha at a time. Grate a full bar, store it in a baggie or jar.
