Castle Rock Lutheran Church is a rural congregation set in the scenic, driftless area of Wisconsin. We have a very friendly and welcoming congregation that is active in community outreach and are stewards of the land and its resources.

Castle Rock Lutheran Church has at its root the “Pioneer Church” formed by Norwegian settlers in the spring of 1855. The congregation met in the homes of the members and it was not until December of 1859 that a contract was let for the construction of the first church building.

The Castle Rock Church Council is responsible for the day-to-day operations, church facility maintenance and scheduling of the church and church functions. The Church Officers are elected on a yearly basis, and the council members serve three-year terms.
