Every year on March 23rd, India observes Shaheed Diwas or Martyrs' Day to pay tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives for India's freedom. This day commemorates the execution of three Indian freedom fighters in 1931: Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru.People in India hold a two-minute silence on this day to honor the sacrifice of these three great freedom warriors and all the other martyrs who gave their life for the nation. At their individual memorials in Delhi, India's Pre
